This Week's SEO News Updates

Do post tags have an impact on search rankings?

Google’s John Muller provides some answers to this question as reported by Search Engine Land.

However, like many good tools, it ended up getting misused and most pages would eventually become a bottomless pit of thin duplicate content.

Muller highlights why it’s a good tool to use but it should be done in an adequate manner. Focus on user experience, not internal linking just for the sake of linking.
